ADAM NICHOLSON
I'm Adam Nicholson, I'm a West Midlands based photographer.
Originally I'm from a small town in North Lincolnshire, where I grew up and this is where I first discovered my love for photography when I took a design course in college that happened to have photography as a module. I learnt both film and digital photography, using both a dark room and digital post production, though I haven't set foot in a dark room for years.
I enjoyed photography so much that after college I moved to Leicester for a few years where I studied photography even further on a photography course through DeMontfort University. Whilst at uni I took on work experience helping make-up artists and fashion studios by taking shots for their portfolios. It was through my time at uni that I ended up moving to the West Midlands after befriending a Brummie who invited me to move in with her.
I have experience in various different areas of photography from weddings and portraits to events such as sporting events, celebrations and religious events. I've even had my work shown in magazines, newspapers and on television. I'm currently a part-time freelance photographer with the aim of one day being a full time photographer.
